Pedro Santos | October's Best Young Player in Liga 2
Pedro Santos, 19 years old midfielder of Benfica's B Team, received, this Friday, December 9, the Best Young Player of October award in Liga 2, in a vote promoted by the Players Union, where he got 16.05% of the votes. In that month, he participated in four matches, one of them as a starter, in which he scored two goals and made two assists. "I thank everyone who voted for me, it is a special feeling to receive this award. The team was very good, and when the collective is good, the players eventually emerge. I just did my job and helped the team. Goals? In the short term I want to have a good season in the B team, help my team, and in the long term I think about making it to the first team.", said the player to BTV.
