Raúl scored the goal of the three points at Vila do Conde and keeps the focus: It's step by step!
07 May 2017, 23h06
SL Benfica has won, this Sunday night, three precious points towards the main season's target, after the winning against Rio Ave, 1-0, in Vila do Conde. In the Day 32 of Liga NOS, Rául, assisted by Salvio, scored the winning goal which puts the "Tricampeão" (three times champion) even more comfortable on the top of table, now with 78 points.
At the end of the match, in the flash interview, the Mexican analyzed the highlights of the match and showed his satisfaction for scoring and helping the team with three more points.
"I'm very happy for scoring and be able to help the people. This is a very important winning and I'm very happy for scoring once more in this stadium", he initially said.
"Sim! It's an important goal, an important victory, but there are two finals left to play. Let's keep working, focused, step by step, there are two weeks left to achieve something for which we have been working all year", he added.
Benfica can commemorate the "Tetra" (four times champion) on Saturday, at Estádio da Luz...
"It would be fantastic, to finish the season with the title's conquering at our Stadium, with our supporters... but first we have to win the match and after we will see", he said.
Concluding: "I wanna thank the opportunities and the support given by the coach and all the teammates... it wasn't an easy season. But I worked a lot and never gave up".
Next Saturday, on May 13th, we have the Liga Nos Day 33, with the "Tricampeão" hosting Vitória de Guimarães. The match starts at 6:15, at Estádio da Luz.
