Benfica has become, this Sunday, 20k Road Race Walk National Champions, in an event held in Quarteira, in Algarve.

Collectively, the Reds racked up 10 points, less 15 than the second placed, Clube de Atletismo de Seia (25).

On an individual level, Miguel Carvalho took the second place of the podium (1:26.45) and Miguel Rodrigues won the bronze medal (1:29.31), in a race won by the sportinguista João Vieira (1:25.44). Pedro Isidro, also a Benfica athlete, finished 5th, with the time of 1:32.57.
