A quick and incisive combination of Benfica's attack put Grimaldo in front of the goal, in the clássico from matchday 14 of the Liga NOS, and the left-back finished with class. The supporters voted on the Official Website and they decided: that was the Goal of the Month in January. 

What did you after viewing the goal again?

Happiness. As I said, it was a great goal, a good collective play, and it was important to score at Dragão. I had never scored a goal there before, and it was a great happiness for me.

How does it feel to receive this award?

I am very happy, but, in the end, the important thing is the team. The goal didn't win the match, but it is important to score goals, to try to help the team, and that is what I try to do.

 

In October, you put that free kick in your top 5. Does this goal also make the top?

Yes, because of the importance of the goal, I think it would make my top. It was a beautiful and very important goal at the Dragão, it would make my top.
