Grimaldo reached the milestone of fifty official matches for Sport Lisboa e Benfica on Saturday, in the rout (5-1), over Rio Ave, in Matchweek 21 of the National Championship.

34 victories, 9 draws and 7 losses. A special mark for Grimaldo, who joined Benfica on December 29th, 2015 and penned a contract with the Club until 2021.

Grimaldo his currently in his 3rd season playing for Benfica and the numbers are clear: he already has 50 appearances with an eagle on his chest!

In his first season (he was a Winter signing), the defender made five official matches; in 2016/17 he wore the Reds' shirt 21 times; and in the current season, the Spanish has already participated in 24 matches.

The young athlete has two goals under his belt with the Reds' shirt and, with regard to titles, Grimaldo has already celebrated two National Titles, one Portuguese Cup, two Cândido Oliveira Super Cups and one League Cup.
