Now with goals, Zivkovic is more complete

Andrija Zivkovic represents Benfica since 2016/17, a season in which he participated in 15 matches (928 minutes) in the Liga NOS and made three assists. In the current season (2017/18), he added to the ability to assist his teammates the power of successfully finishing the attacking plays.

In the recent trip to Portimonense, for Gameweek 22 of the championship, Zivkovic, launched by Rui Vitória for the eighth time in Benfica's starting XI in the current edition of the competition, draw with his left foot the strike that would seal the result: a triumph by 1-3.

The Serbian attacking midfielder scored his first goal in the Liga NOS on November 26th, 2017, at Estádio da Luz, in a match from Round 12. The midfielder came in at 60' to replace Grimaldo and at 87' he bagged the last goal of a big win against Vitória de Setúbal (6-0). Served by a precise pass from Jonas, Zivkovic appeared inside the box and beat Cristiano. The other five goals of the match were scored by (7') Jonas (39' and 66'), Salvio (48') and André Almeida (68').

The second goal with the signature of Zivkovic in the Liga NOS would happen in Portimão, where Benfica bagged another three points. After Cervi (6' and 77') having put the ball in the back of Portimonense's net twice, the Serbian, also with a left-footed shot like the Argentine, sealed the history of the encounter at 90'+5'.

Now Zivkovic also scores, but first, and in the current championship, he began with the assists. At the time of the trip to Bessa to face Boavista - who on Saturday, at 6:15 pm, will be host at Estádio da Luz in the reverse fixture-, the Serbian made the cross for Jonas' strike.

Later, in the encounter against Paços de Ferreira, at the Cathedral, Zivkovic made a cross from the right side for a great left-footed goal from Cervi.
