Jonas is worth for 41 teams of the Top 5 leagues in Europe

Jonas' season at Benfica has been a real treat. Apart from the 30 goals in the Liga NOS (33 in all competitions), the number 10 jersey stands out for other attributes he adds and for the intelligence with which he plays and makes the team play. Against Marítimo he scored another hat-trick and was considered the Man of the Match.

The constant eye-catching performances have reached the other side of the Atlantic, with the Brazilian Press debating the reason for the inclusion of "Pistolas" among the names with strong chances of representing Brazil in the World Cup that will take place in Russia next June and July.

To help explain the magnitude of Jonas' numbers in 2017/18, the Official Site of Benfica compared the total accurate finished from the number 10 jersey with the goals scored by the 17 opposing teams in the Liga NOS and noted that more than half – 10 – have less goals scored. In Portugal, Marítimo, Boavista, Tondela, Belenenses, V. Setúbal, Feirense, Moreirense, Desportivo das Aves, P. Ferreira and Estoril have less strikes than the forward of the eagles.
