Basketball wins the "clássico" with an emphatic second half

The Benfica beat, this Sunday, FC Porto, by 86-68, in a game of round 2 of the second phase of the Portuguese Basketball League.

During the break, Benfica paid tribute to the former basketball players, Henrique Vieira and José Carlos Guimarães, who entered the court to be applauded by the supporters.

Its worth remembering the eagles had the captain Tomás Barroso and Miroslav Todic sidelined due to injury. Benfica has 21 wins in the National Championship and only three losses; it already won two trophies this season (the Super Cup and the Hugo dos Santos Cup) and is focused on defending the Title

The scorers of Benfica were Damier Pitts (21), João Soares (17), Nuno Oliveira (11), Carlos Morais (12), José Silva (10), Nicolas dos Santos (8), Raven Barber (5) and Carlos Andrade (2).
