Jardel guarantees that this defeat (0-1, against FC Porto) will not undermine the team and make it deviate from the final objective. The center-back assures that the reds will continue the journey and “give everything in the four matches that are left to play”.
“It was a balanced match, very difficult. Our team played always very well, we managed to control the match, but football has this kind of things. FC Porto was happy with a goal at 90 minutes but will can not our heads drop. There is still a lot of Championship ahead. We will fight until the end ”, said the Brazilian player to BTV.
Benfica's number 33 also thanked the “amazing” supporters that once again filled the Estádio da Luzand “supported the team from the first to the last minute”. They were our 12th player”, he confessed.
