Five eagles called-up for Toulon Tournament

Benfica is the most represented club in the Sub-19 call-up announced to serve Portugal in that prestigious international competition.

Cinco dos 20 jogadores que vão representar Portugal na 46.ª edição do Torneio Internacional de Toulon foram recrutados no Benfica, que é o emblema mais representado na convocatória assinada pelo selecionador de Sub-19 Hélio Sousa.

David TavaresFlorentinoJoão FilipeJosé Gomes and Mesaque Dju were the chosen ones to defend the National Team in one of the most famous and prestigious competitions of youth football.

The Sub-19 national team is in Grupo C, along with Canada, Japan and Turkey. The Group A is composed by England, China, Qatar and México, and the B by France, South Korea, Togo and Scotland.

The first match of the “lusitanos” is scheduled for May 28 (Monday), at 7:30 pm, against Canada. The second one will be against Japan on May 31 (Thrusday), at 5:00 pm and the third one on June 3, at 5:30 pm, against Turkey.
