The National Team completes this Friday, at Cidade do Futebol, the fourth day of the training camp that precedes the participation in the 2018 Russia World Cup.

In the press conference before this morning training session, Rúben Dias spoke to the journalists.

"For me is a great pleasure to be here and to be part of the same team that these colleagues. It is a moment of much learning, to be able to ear the advice of such seasoned players. I am here with heart and soul to work. I will be one more to help", he said.

"Obviously, I think that any Portuguese player who is fit has this objective. It is a dream come true, since I began my path in the national team that the goal was to get to this space. From here we have to continue to work game by game so that the best is yet to come", continued the youngster nurtured at Caixa Futebol Campus.

Before the trip to Russia, there will be three friendly matches against Tunisia (May 28), Belgium (June 2 ) and Algeria (June 7), the latter to take place at the Estádio da Luz.

Preparing for a new clash

Benfica's professional football team began preparations for their clash with Auckland City on Friday, June 20, at 12 noon (5:00 pm continental time) at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, on matchday 2 of Group C of the 2025 Club World Cup with a two 30-minute halves training match against FC Naples on Tuesday, June 17. The Eagles won 2-1, with goals from Gonçalo Oliveira and Belotti.
