The midfielder Keaton Parks made his debut in the United States Senior National team in a friendly match (3-0) against Bolivia on Monday. The special moment was celebrated with the colors of Benfica.
Launched by Rui Vitória in Benfica's first team during the 2017/18 season, Keaton Parks lived another unforgettable moment at the age of 20: in the 61st minute of the friendly match against Bolivia, the midfielder came on to replace particular Joe Corona, at a time in which the result was already sealed, with goals from Zimmerman (37'), Sargent (52') and Weah (59').
The event was closely followed by Parks' closest family members, who supported the young athlete and wore the colors of Benfica in stands of the Talen Energy Stadium, in Pennsylvania.
Keaton Parks is also one of the names included on the squad list for the next two friendly matches against Ireland and France.
The North American midfielder renewed his contract with Benfica last season. He was used in the first team in six matches and under Hélder Cristóvão, he participated in 31 matches from B team, where he scored seven goals.
