Samaris, a midfielder from Benfica's professional football squad, celebrates his 29th birthday this Wednesday.

The Greek international wears Benfica's jersey since 2014/15, the moment of his career in which after just having become a national champion with Olympiacos, he accepted the challenge of fighting for other great achievements with an eagles on his chest.

In all competitions, Samaris has made 135 matches for the Benfica and has contributed for the winning of three Championships, one Portuguese Cup, two Super Cups and two League Cups.

In the 2017/18 season, the midfielder was used in 25 matches and scored one goal.
