Three U-15 players signed an academy contract

Bruno Santos, Guilherme Pio and Ricardo Ribeiro penned a youth football academy contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica until 2021. The two forwards and the goalkeeper from the U-15 team will carry out their third season playing for the Eagles.

Bruno Miguel Vicente dos Santos is 15-year-old (16.04.2003) and he is preparing for his third season with an eagle on his chest.

The forward from Luís Nascimento's side arrived at Caixa Futebol Campus in 2016/17, coming from SC Cuba.

In 2017/18, he made 30 appearances for the U-15 team and he was a starter in every encounter of the final stage of the National Championship (10).

He was Benfica's top scorer in the 2nd phase of the competition – where he played every match – with 12 goals scored.

Who also has an academy contract valid until 2021 is his teammate, Guilherme Miguel Beirão Pio. The forward is 14-year-old (22.09.2003) and he arrived in 2016/17 coming from Portimonense.

In the 2017/18 season, he played a total of 27 matches in the U-15 National Championship, in which he scored 10 goals.

He was a starter in every match of the final phase and the top scorer with 7 goals.

Ricardo Dias Ribeiro, a goalkeeper, 15-year-old (23.05.2003). This are the data of the third player who penned an academy contract.

He will carry out his third season playing for Sport Lisboa e Benfica, having arrived in 2016/2017, coming from EAS Marinha Grande.

The youngster who began his footballing career at Ginásio Clube de Alcobaça was called-up for the National U-15 team training camps this season. At Benfica, this season, he made a total of 18 appearances in the National Championship.
