It is one of the most prestigious football tournaments all around Europe. The Emirates Cup is not only a simple preparation tournament for Benfica, it is also sign of the international recognition for the National Champion.

Our first opponent will be Arsenal, the host of the tournament. For its coach, Arsène Wenger, the Emirates Cup is not only a tournament. It is the tournament.

“I'm naturally excited because it's an opportunity to be next to our supporters, before the beginning of the season, in a relaxed atmosphere", said the French coach.

"With an atmosphere of low pressure, where everybody can enjoy, the youngest and the new players”, he added.

Arsenal is going to face Benfica, on Saturday, and Seville, on Sunday.
