Jardel: “We hope to complete two good matches”

The Benfica's defender Jardel, has given an interview to BTV about the matches against Neuchâtel Xamax and Young Boys, both for the UhrenCup. Before that he analyzed the first two weeks in Seixal.

"We have started in a strong way, with intensity and lots of work. That's the way it is in the pre-season. Now it’s time to keep it, to move on, because it’s very important for the entire season, so that we can feel good and play our game 100%", he declared.

Now it is time for the UhrenCup, where we will be supported, for sure, by many "Benfiquistas". “We have two matches in Switzerland, important for our preparation. Being able to be next to the supporters living there is also very important. We hope to complete two good matches and come back to Lisbon with the victories”, he wished.

Natural responsibility

Being one of the oldest in the group, the defender is aware of his responsibilities.

“I'm here for a long time and representing a Club such as Benfica, which is huge, is a big responsibility. The new players are also understanding what Benfica is. We are all important for the group...Luisão, myself, André [Almeida], Salvio… we all have responsibilities”, he alerted.
