Seferovic: “We are working with lots of ambition”

This Wednesday was marked by a special moment, with hundreds of "Benfiquistas" at Rua Augusta, Baixa.

The motif? Simple! After the morning training, two football players were present in the Benfica's Official Store for an autograph session.

In statements to the Press, the new Swiss player was clearly excited and has revealed the group's ambition.

“Benfica is a big Club with many fantastic supporters. It's incredible. It's a team which always plays the Champions League. We have a great team but first we got to be well prepared. It's an enormous Club, with lots of supporters, I like that! Many people love Benfica, it's amazing", said Seferovic, clearly impressed with the multitude.

How have been these first days?

 “The first impressions are good. All the players were nice to me. Rui Vitória? He's a good coach. We are working with lots of ambition”, he said, while describing himself: “I'm fast, I'm a team player”.

When asked to comment his situation...

“I don't know if it would be good for some forwards to leave. We are four at this moment, the competition is good and the coach will decide who plays”.

Do you expect to score many goals?

“Look, when I play, I hope to score. I don't know how many”, he concluded.
