Rui Bragança wins the Silver Medal


At the University Games of Taipei, Taiwan.

Another medal for a Sport Lisboa e Benfica's athlete, this time for Rui Bragança (-58kg category) in Taekwondo.

After defeating the Jamaican Malek Ahmad (19-9), the Indonesian Adam Ferdyansyah (11-6) and the home athlete Cheng-Ching (11-8), the 26-year-old Portuguese has lost the final against the Indian Hadi Tiranvalipour (7-5).

Rui Bragança is, currently, the Nº 1 of the world ranking and one of the candidates to the Gold in the next Olympic Games in Tokyo.
