Rui Vitória approached the match against Boavista from Matchday 6 of Liga NOS. The coach expects a difficult match but wants to get the three points.

“Traditionally is difficult to play at Bessa. With the coach change there will be a natural reaction in Boavista's squad. Miguel has done a really good work. We'll face an assertive and a confident Boavista team, but that will not change our philosophy, with ambition and thinking about putting our qualities in the pitch. We'll go to Bessa with the will to win”, he highlighted.

When asked to comment if Benfica is falling short of what the team produced  last season, he responded with facts: “We have won a Super Cup and we have won some difficult matches. At this stage, last year, we had 13 points, 11 goals scored; this year we have the same point tally, but we have more goals for. The championship is not easy and I never said it was.”
