Caixa Futebol Campus: 11 years of progress!

The dream of building a training center with the necessary conditions for the development of young players and that could also function as a strong vault for the professional football team was fulfilled on September 22nd 2006.

This Friday it completes 11 years... and a lot of stories!

Despite the fact that the concept remains the same since its inception – Train to win –, a lot has change at Seixal. Gradually, several construction works have been made with the purpose of improving the facilities, as for instance the expansion of Campo 1 (main pitch) stand or the construction of the 360s space.

More than ever, Caixa Futebol Campus is alive and well. The investment made in the increase of the number of available beds, the expansion of the dining hall and the creation of a building for the technical area, along with the School Project, reinforces the president's desire to turn Seixal into “the heart of Benfica”.
