Needing to win with a difference of 10 points, the eagles were beaten by 87-71 (27-12, 18-15, 22-22 and 20-22).

The Benfica's Line-up was: Jesse Sanders, José Silva, João Soares, Antywane Robinson and Raven Barber. Antywane Robinson was the man in our side, with 14 points.
