A great goal which leaves Jonas very close to one hundred goals with Benfica - 95 at the moment.

With the goal scored in Madeira, for Matchday 8 of Liga NOS, Jonas is only five goals away to reach the historical landmark of 100 goals (74 in the League I, 8 in the Portuguese Cup, 9 in the League Cup, 2 in the Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup and 2 in the Champions League).

With the eagle on his chest since 2014/15, when he left Valência in order to proceed his career in our country and to win titles with Benfica, Jonas is in a good position to be the second foreigner to achieve this fantastic result.
