“The Elite Soccer Entertainment integrally assumes its full responsibility for the cancellation of the 2017 Eusébio Cup edition, which was scheduled for the next October 6th, in Toronto", informs the company.

“For unforeseen reasons”, clarifies, “the ESE was not able to meet the contractual obligations and the commitments established with Sport Lisboa e Benfica and Glasgow Rangers under the terms and the stipulated deadlines of the contract. This situation goes beyond the will or responsibility of any of the clubs mentioned”, adds.

“We deeply regret the occurred as well as the eventual damage caused to the institutions above, which deserve our greatest respect. The regret is extendable to all the supporters of both clubs, as well as to Eusébio da Silva Ferreira’s family”, says the ESE.

“To Sport Lisboa e Benfica and Glasgow Rangers, institutions of international renown, we wish the biggest sporting success and we hope to work again in the near future", concludes the Elite Soccer Entertainment.
