On Tuesday afternoon, it was played the matchday 4 of UEFA Youth League, with the Manchester United U-19 squad and Sport Lisboa e Benfica facing at Leigh Sports Village Company.

The home team entered the game on the front foot, with Hamilton, opening the scoring in the 3rd minute. Benfica reacted and Pedro Álvaro, at 10’ left the warning and João Félix score the equalizer in 14th minute.

With this result, Manchester United remains top of Group A, with 8 points, followed by Basel (7), Benfica (6) and CSKA (0).

In the next round, the fifth, Benfica travels to Moscow to face CSKA, ins a match scheduled for November 22nd.

Benfica fought until the end for a different outcome in the last 16 of the Club World Cup, but after extra time they fell to Chelsea (1-4), thus ending their journey in the first edition of the competition in the United States of America. In a game that was interrupted in the 86th minute due to the threat of a thunderstorm and ended almost five hours after the kick-off, Di María leveled the score at 90'+5' (1-1), taking the match into 30 minutes of extra time, during which time the result hung in the balance for the English at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
