He scored his first two goals of the season and paved the way for Benfica's triumph over Tondela (1-5), in a match from matchweek 15 of Liga NOS. Pizzi stressed that “the important is the collective” and highlighted the reds' “winning mentality ”.

“We entered the game on the front foot. We knew we were going to face an opponent that is very tough playing at home, but we entered the match with the will to win and that was what happened. We scored two goals which made the game easier and the team is to be congratulated because we made an outstanding performance”, said the midfielder in the flash interview.

“Naturally, it is always important to score goals early and try to calm down the team. We were very strong, always cohesive and with a winning mentality. It was a great match”, he stressed.

“We have been growing as a team. This is a group with a lot of quality, we have player that can make the different at any moment. We have a great unity, a great team spirit and we have showed that here.”, he stated.
