The best attack of the Liga NOS

With the 4-2 win over Rio Ave in matchday 16 of the Liga NOS, Benfica has raised its goal tally in the competition to 35. With this goal tally, the reds regain the status of the Championship's best attack.

After the results achieved in the last round (16) by the other title contenders, we can see that FC Porto has 34 goals scored, Sporting has 33 and SC Braga rounds off this list with 31 goals scored.

At Benfica, Jonas stood out as the top scorer in the squad with six goals, but the numbers are now slightly different.

The eagles number 10 remains at the top of the best goal scorers table, but shares the top spot with Seferovic, who with the brace against Rio Ave, in matchday 16 of the Liga NOS, also has six goals scored in the National Championship.

Right-footed vs Left-footed: The art of serving well

When it comes to assists, Pizzi remains the athlete with more assists in the Liga NOS. The Reds' midfielder has provided six assists, being that the most recent assist was in the fourth goal in Benfica's win  over Rio Ave (4-2) in a game from matchday 16 of the National Championship.  

Another of the highlights of this last game were the assists. Of the four goals, three assists were made by three left-footed players, Grimaldo Zivkovic and Seferovic, who delivered an assist with his right foot.

When we add Cervi to this lot, we realize that these four athletes are very influential in the red attack, since together they have already provided assists for 11 of the 35 goals from the eagles.
