Benfica secured the signing of Vilius Armalas, a centre-back who arrives from FC Stumbras, where he played in the first team.

At age of 18 (21.07.2000), the 1,90 cm U-19 player is set to make his first experience outside his homeland, having also represented Lithuania's U-19s and made his debut in the Lithuanian league at the tender age of 17.
