Ferro: “All fighting and working for the same”

It was with a 1-2, aggregate score, that Sport Lisboa e Benfica beat Galatasaray and sealed the passport to the Europa League Last 16. A triumph in Istanbul and a scoreless draw at Luz in front of 49 545 fans in the stands.

Ferro started in the center of the defense and analyzed the fairness of the qualification for the next round.

“It went well. We were on the back of a positive result in the 1^st and we had to pay with that. We did not get the win, but the most important thing was to go through to the next round and we did it. We controlled the game, we wanted to win like we want to win every match, but we have to play with the two legs ”, he claimed.

Ferro was sent off in the last match, in Vila das Aves… Did you feel more pressure?

“I have fantastic teammates. I did not feel any pressure! I don't feel any pressure playing in this stadium and this club”, he stated.

“We are all fighting and working for the same, and we are working well”, added the number 97 jersey of the team coached by Bruno Lage.
