Krovinovic: “We are ready! I have a lot of confidence in the team”

It is on Thursday, March 7, that Sport Lisboa e Benfica and Dinamo Zagreb play the 1st leg of the Europa League last 16. This European clash starts at 5:55 pm GMT, at the Maksimir Stadium, and Krovinovic made the preview of the match.

“This is my city, my family and my friends live here, this is my former club and I am very happy to be here”, claimed Krovinovic, in exclusive statements to BTV.

Asked to do the first analysis to his former team, Krovinovic praised the opponent but believes that Benfica is ready.

“Dinamo is doing a great season, but we are ready. I have a lot of confidence in our team and I believe that we will show it tomorrow [Thursday]”, he analyzed.

Already in the Press conference, Krovinovic reaffirmed these ideas and made clear the motto for the match.

“We come here to win! We will face a great team, with great players, a team that is doing a great season, but we come here to win”, he said, revealing that “he would really like to play again” at the Maksimir Stadium, however, and despite feeling prepared, the "decision is always up to the coach".
