Ferro, the centre-back of Benfica, scored a stunner in the 1st half of extra-time and helped the team eliminated Dinamo Zagreb (3-0).

"They [Dinamo Zagreb] had a very defensive approach, which is normal because they had the lead in the tie. In the first half we tried to pass the ball around to force them to run more and in the second half they broke down physically, ended up going down and we managed to score the goal", he analyzed.

This was Ferro's third goal playing for Benfica's first team, the first in the European competitions.

"It's special, it's the first goal in the Europa League, but that's not the most important thing. The most important thing is to help the team; if I can score goals, the better, but the most important thing is that we went through to the next round", he highlighted.
