Florentino's first goal for the first team in the recent win away at Moreirense (0-4) put Benfica in the forefront of the top seven European leagues as far as the ranking of academy players with goals in 2018/19 is concerned.

With the ball that touched the back of Moreirense's net (matchday 26), Florentino became the 15th different goalscorer of the eagles in the Liga NOS, a competition in which the team, with 72 goals scored, has the best attack.

With Florentino's goal, Benfica reached a record only matched by one of the world's leading references in terms of academy football: Barcelona.

The first goal from the n.º 61 of the eagles for the first team turned him in the 4th academy player to have scored in the Championship in the current season. In this quartet are also Rúben Dias (two goals scored), Ferro (two goals) and João Félix (the best goalscorer nurtured in Seixal with 10 goals in the Liga NOS).
