Rúben Dias: “A word to the fans who supported us until the end”

The Benfica’s center-back analyzed the 2^nd leg of the Europa League Quarterfinals against Eintracht Frankfurt. When asked about the referee's mistake in the first goal and if it had influence, Rúben Dias was conclusive.

“Of course. We worked a lot, we started the match strong. In the second half we couldn’t find our spaces. The result is marked by a mistake. It’s not easy to overcome this kind of mistakes. We didn’t have as many chances as we wanted, but it was about the detail of the ball not getting in. Overall, it was a clear mistake which cost us the elimination. I also leave a word to the fans who supported us until the end”, he declared.

“I feel like we were better in both matches. We have done enough to go through. Now the Championship is our goal and we’ll do everything to win”, he assured.
