Luisão visits the Levi's Stadium

Another very busy day! After the visit to Newark and the Portugal Day parade, Luisão, who is representing Benfica in the United States, traveled to San Francisco, a city that will host at the Levi's Stadium the eagles' first match at the 2019 ICC, against Chivas Guadalajara, on July 20.

The first stop was at one of the local Portuguese radio stations, Luisão answered the questions of those who, far from their homeland, continue to follow Benfica.

A new stop followed! Benfica will be in the United States in July and Luisão was at Levi’s Stadium.

“This is the first stadium where we will pass in ICC, California, where there are many Portuguese and Benfiquistas who can come to see the match. I already had the chance of playing against Mexican teams and they run a lot. I think that it will be a great match. It has all the ingredients to be a great celebration, the Stadium filled to its capacity, with our colors, red and white”, mentioned Luisão.

At the end of the day.... casa do Benfica in San Jose has been promoting the ICC and the former number four from the eagles went there to feel the supporters’ passion.

This Tuesday there will be another defining moment, with the former player from the Reds being the guest of honor in the baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and the San Diego Padres, making the first pitch that will mark the start of the game.
