Champions' Dinner: a very tasty title

After the party at the Pavilion on Sunday, Benfica's futsal team continued the National Title celebration at a dinner, in Lisbon, that brought together players, coaching staff and their families.

The players from Benfica did not hide their pride in winning the most important trophy in Portuguese futsal with an eagle on their chest.

“It's a very happy ending, not for my goals throughout the games, but for what we manage to achieve with the entire team. We showed the strength we have when we unite, I'm very happy for this title”, confessed Fernandinho, in statements to BTV.

Fábio Cecílio praised the work of the entire team and confessed that this title “is special for being the first with Benfica's jersey”.

“All this is the fruit of the work we have been doing all year round, it's because we did things right. Credit to us, to the players, to the coaching staff, to the supporters, to Benfica. It is a trophy I had not won yet and it's special because it's the first. We are all to be congratulated and now, more than to think about what we did right or wrong, we must enjoy the moment because, for me, it was historic, and we must keep wanting more”, stressed universal from the reds.
