Pizzi: "Our movements and triangulations were decisive"

He assisted João Félix for the first goal of the evening against CD Aves (2-0) and he racked up the fourth assist in 2018/19. At the end of the encounter, Pizzi preferred to highlight the “great performance” of the group.

“We made a great performance, very solid, with a lot of ball possession, always with the desire to score goals and we are to be congratulated. Since the first moment we knew what we wanted, we good players, that defends well, but I think that our movements and our triangulations ended up deciding this match”, analyzed the number 21 of the Reds.

“I am very happy for, once again, helping the team to get the victory. In the play of the goal, I decided to cut inside and when I say João Félix going behind the defender, I tried to deliver him the ball. The credit is all to João who scored a great goal. He is a kid with a lot of quality and he is to be congratulated because he helped us to get another victory at our Stadium, close to our supporters”, he said.  

“I have a great team spirit. Since the first moment, our dressing room is strong, united and craving to win good things. I want congratulate our group for all the quality in this match”, he finished.
