A starter and with 72 minutes played, Salvio was elected the Man of the Match in the encounter of Week 5 of the Liga NOS, where Benfica won the home match against CD Aves (2-0).

“It is always good to win, to help the team and to win this award. But the most important was to clinch the three points, that was what we wanted”, he said, in statements to BTV.

“We entered the game on the front foot, we controlled the match in every moment and we had several opportunities in the first half that would allow us to kill off the game earlier. We are very happy with the win”, said Salvio, turning already all the attention to the trip to Chaves: “Now we must recover for Thursday's match.”
