All the men´s football squads of Benfica are leading the pack in their respective championships.

In the first team, Benfica preserved the leadership of the Liga NOS, after beating Desportivo das Aves at home by 2-0.
A result that leaves the reds with a total of 13 points, the same points that Braga (they beat Sporting by 1-0 at the Pedreira) and one more point than FC Porto (12), the opponent that the eagles host at Estádio da Luz in matchday 7 of the most important national competition.
One category below, Benfica B hosted and beat Varzim (1-0), thanks to a goal from Jota, in a game from matchday 5 of the II Division (Ledman LigaPro). On balance: 13 points clinched (in 15 possible), after five rounds, the fruit of four wins and a draw, 7 goals scored and 3 conceded.
With one game in hand, Benfica U-23 is the leader of the Liga Revelação table and it is in that condition that it will host, this Tuesday (Sep 25, at 6 pm), Cova da Piedade in a game from matchday 7. The newly formed red team has four victories and 13 points.
A point tally also achieved by the U-19’s. The team coached by Renato Paiva visit Cova da Piedade and won by 0-4 and moved up to the top spot of the National Championship South Zone.
The U-17’s have already reached the 15 points after five rounds played. Benfica won by 0- 4 in the visit to Estoril-Praia, in Serie D of the National Championship and tops the table– 100% winning record – with 15 points, 5 goals scored and none conceded.
Finally, the U-15’s who are also undefeated (15 points). Last round, matchday 5 of Serie E, beat Alverca by 1-2.
