Pizzi is in high rotation in 2018/19. Played all the 14 matches held by the eagles (1121 minutes), being always a starter. In fact, it was in the last of those matches – the “clássico” of last Sunday – that the Portuguese international did his last assistance. The midfielder assisted Haris Seferovic with his head, to score the decisive goal against FC Porto.
Taking a look at the midfielders of the top ten European Leagues, only Pablo Sarabia did a little better so far. The 26-year old Spaniard, from Seville, counts nine goals and five assists in 15 matches.
