João Félix extends contract with Benfica until 2023

It is official: João Félix has extended his contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica. The forward’s agreement with the Club is currently valid until 2023.

"It is a special contract renewal; it is the first one since I arrived at the Benfica’s first team. I feel that people are aware of the work I have been doing. They give us all the conditions to improve, without them I would not be the player I am today. I am very happy and I thank all the people involved in this process", said João Félix after signing the contract.

"The President keeps track of me and always helped me in everything, even extra football. I thank him for all the support and for the bet so that I can reach the first team ", declared the athlete.

"It is a dream to be a part of the first team. All players dream about this. I am in the best Portuguese team, one of the best in the world. It is a dream to be able to play next to players who used to be and are still my idols, but now are also teammates who help me a lot. It all started in June and I hope that it will last for a long time", finished João Félix.
