Estádio da Luz will host the first two qualifying matches from the Portuguese National team for the 2020 European Championships against Ukraine and Serbia. These matches are scheduled for March 22 and 25, 2019, respectively, both with kick-off at 7.45 pm.

The National Team plays in from of the Portuguese people in the first double fixture of Group B scheduled for the month of match 2019. The team coached by Fernando Santos resumes the qualification (on Sep 7 and 10), traveling to Serbia and to Lithuania.

The joy, conviviality and importance of the Benfica Football Schools National Meeting continues to be felt year after year. On Saturday, May 17, the 1st day of the 18th edition of the event– which runs until Sunday - took place at the Estádio da Luz. A weekend full of emotions for the nearly 7,000 students from the 46 schools involved, who will have the opportunity to play in the Cathedral.
