Anyone who sees the Casa do Benfica in Philadelphia has no idea what they'll find inside. In the Club space, you can breathe history and Mystique. On Monday, the cup of the 37th league title went to the Philadelphia.
At the door, Abel Sousa, the president of the Casa do Benfica, welcome the benfiquista delegation led by the vice-presidents Domingos Almeida Lima and Alcino António.
Upon entering the room, a true compendium of history. Between pennants, flags, photographs of several Benfica squad that became champion and the symbol.
Among the several photographs, emphasis on the Unbeatable Champions of 1972/73, with Jimmy Hagan, the European Champions of 1961/62, with Béla Guttmann, and the four squads that helped the Club win the unprecedented four consecutive league titles.
