Triumph in a practice match against Briosa

Wednesday marked by the first practice match of the Under-19 squad within the preseason training camp that the team coach by Luís Araújo is carrying out in Luso. A 2-0 win against Académica Under-19.

After the first week of work at Caixa Futebol Campus, the reds headed to Luso. The team has been training twice a day and this Wednesday they carried out the first training match, with Gerson Sousa and Tomás Araújo scoring the golas of Benfica's 2-0 win over Académica.

Benfica's starting XI: Samuel Soares, Renato Matos, Alexandre Penetra, Adrian Bajrami, Rafael Rodrigues, Matheus Palmério, Diogo Nascimento, Iuri Tavares, Henrique Pereira, Jeremi Sarmiento, and Henrique Araújo.

Also played: Francisco Domingues, Gerson Sousa, Filipe Cruz, Tomás Araújo, Gabriel Araújo, and Rajmund Molnar.

The U-19 National Championship begins on August 10, and in round 1 SL Benfica will face V. Setúbal.
