Annaysa is an official signing from the women's football of Benfica! The 23-year-old forward (02.07.1996) will begin her adventure in Europe and will wear the Sacred Mantle in the 2019/20 season.
"When the Brazilian players came to Benfica, I started following the Club, I found both the structure and the fans very exciting and wanted to come here and play. I have always followed Benfica on social media and I was very impressed with the fans, especially in the final of the Portuguese Cup, it was something very beautiful", stressed Annaysa, in statements to BTV.
In terms of achievements, the Brazilian striker highlighted one in particular representing the U-20 team of Brazil.
"The U-20 South American Championship was a very important because the national team is the dream that any girl who plays football. To have won the title in the first year I was part of the national team was very important for me", she claimed.
Finally, Annaysa said the move to a club like Benfica was a major leap in his career.
"It was a big leap in my career because Benfica is not just any team. It's a team with a big name, it has a huge structure and that's very important in my life", she said.
