Pedro Ganchas renews contract

Pedro Ganchas, 19-year old center-back (31.05.2000), has extended contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

"I feel satisfied for being able to renew contract with this great club. Now it’s time to keep a high level and try to correspond to Benfica’s bet on me", said the player, to BTV, after signing the new contract.

The player counts with eight caps in the youth Portuguese national teams: four with the U19, two with the U18 and also two with the U17.

Looking at the present and the near future, Pedro Ganchas outlined his goals for 2019/20. "Collectively the goal is to win. We are Benfica and that’s our responsibility. Individually I want to develop myself, work and become a better player, so I can think higher, more and more”, declared the defender.
