Luisão: “The ambition is to reach the round of 16”

Former player and captain of Benfica, Luisão went to Monaco to attend the Group Stage draw.

"It’s a very balanced group, with high difficulty for us, with good teams. Lyon has Juninho [Pernambucano] as a technical manager, who is my friend; I still did not have so much contact with Leipzig and Zenit is a team that we already know", he considered.

Although the balance in Group G, Benfica is full of ambition...

"We always have the ambition to win every match and reach the Round of 16", declared Luisão.
