Seferovic was elected player of the year in Switzerland, after an outstanding season where he became national champion with Benfica and the Liga NOS top scorer with 23 goals.

"I went through some difficult moments, but I have turned things round and managed to have a great year. I thank all the people who voted, I’m very happy", highlighted the benfiquista forward after the ceremony.

Seferovic succeeded the goalkeeper Sommer (Borussia Monchengladbach) and beat Xhaka (Arsenal) and Shaquiri (Liverpool), Champions League winner.

Estoril-Benfica: extended highlights (1-2)

What a great atmosphere in Amoreira, it's the Red Wave! Visiting the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota for the 32nd and antepenultimate matchday of the Liga Betclic, Benfica imposed themselves and won 1-2. The Eagles' goals on Saturday night, May 3, were scored by Aursnes and Otamendi.

Aursnes (7') and Otamendi (36') scored the goals for Glorioso. Determined display, goal achieved in the fight for the title.

The celebration of the five-time champions at Benfica Campus!

Before and after the match from matchday 21 of the Liga BPI, against Clube de Albergaria (5-0), the women's football team of Benfica was showered with crowds while celebrating their 5th league in a row. The afternoon began with an autograph session attended by hundreds of fans and, at the end of the game, there was time to lift the trophy and take it to the central stand of Benfica Campus Field No. 1, in a celebration in total communion with the fans.
