Pizzi is making a remarkable start at Benfica. The Portuguese midfielder, who already scored ten times in 2019/20 season, is currently the top scorer midfielder in the Top 10 European Leagues.

All stories have a beginning and the story of Pizzi in this season is no exception. The playmaker has been playing on a top level and that ends up positively reflected on the consistency of the team commanded by Bruno Lage. Concerning the goals, the benfiquista, has already completed four braces this season (the last one took place in the win over Cova da Piedade in the Portuguese Cup), which establishes a new record in his professional career.

This Sunday, May 4, Benfica Campus' Field No. 1 was the stage for celebrating the 26th national Under-19 title. Needing just one point to celebrate, Benfica's U19 team became champions after a 2-2 draw against FC Porto in round 13 of the championship round, and lifted the trophy on the pitch, celebrating afterward with the fans who were tireless in their support for Luís Araújo's team.
