With a 3-0 lead brought from Bosnia, SL Benfica hosted and beat Mladost BRCKO by 3-0 in the Pavilion n.º 2, in an encounter from the 2^nd leg of the 1^st qualification round of the CEV Champions League.

With this win (3-0), Benfica goes through to the 2nd qualification round of the competition. The 1st leg is scheduled for 5:30 pm on November 5, Tuesday, at the Pavilion n.º 2 of Luz complex. The eagles will lock horns with OK Budva, from Montenegro.

Marcel Matz (Benfica Coach): “I think that our team played well. In the 2^nd set, the score was at 21-18, to lose that lead was dangerous because we just needed to win that set to qualify to the next round, but we achieved the first goal which was to clinch the win and of course the two sets that would hand us the qualification for the 2^nd round. So, the players are to be congratulated. The team carried out a tough cycle of four matches in six days, but all the players were very well physically and mentally.”
