Chiquinho: “Benfica never gives up the fight”

SL Benfica lost 3-1 against Lyon this Tuesday, in a game from matchday 4 of Group G of the Champions. The Eagles remain with three points amassed, but Chiquinho, who made his debut in the competition, emphasized that as long as it's mathematically possible the team will fight for the qualification.

“Benfica never gives up the fight and we're going to fight for the qualification until we have no chance of qualifying, until it's mathematically impossible”, he claimed, on the night he fulfilled the dream of making his debut in the Champions League: “It's always special, ever since I was a kid, I've dreamed of playing this competition.”
