Eagles called up to Portugal Senior national team


Two Benfica players were called up by Fernando Santos for the last two qualification matches for the Euro 2020.

The national coach Fernando Santos announced the squad list for Portugal's matches against Lithuania and Luxembourg, in the Euro 2020 qualifiers. Rúben Dias and Pizzi, from Benfica, are part of the chosen players.

In the end of the qualifiers for the European Championship, the Portuguese National team faces Lithuania on November 14 (Thursday), at 7:45 pm, at Estádio Algarve, and afterwards travels to Luxembourg to face the local national team at 2 pm on November 17 (Sunday).

Defenders| Ricardo Pereira (Leicester), Nélson Semedo (Barcelona), José Fonte (Lille), Pepe (FC Porto), Rúben Dias (Benfica), Rúben Semedo (Olympiacos), Raphael Guerreiro (Borussia Dortmund) and Mário Rui (Napoli);

Midfilders| Danilo Pereira (FC Porto), Rúben Neves (Wolverhampton), Bruno Fernandes (Sporting), Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), João Mário (Lokomotiv), João Moutinho (Wolverhampton) and Pizzi (Benfica);

Forwards| Bruma (PSV), Daniele Podence (Olympiacos), Diogo Jota (Wolverhampton), André Silva (Eintracht Frankfurt), Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus), Gonçalo Paciência (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Éder (Lokomotiv).
